Helsinki Beer Festival 2015

10.-11.4.2015 Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki


The biggest beer event Helsinki Beer Festival is here this weekend featuring nearly 500 different beers, ciders or whiskies. Theme country of the year is Austria and there are many breweries presented from Austria and the surrounding countries. We focus in Helsinki and here you have an overview of our local breweries and eateries present at the festival.There will be live music on both days as well as tastings and other activities.

Bryggeri Helsinki located in Tori Quarters Helsinki city center offers wide variety of beers. At the restaurant-brewery food pairing has an essential role. 

Suomenlinnan Panimo from the gorgeous sea fortress. Suomenlinnan Panimo was founded in 1995 to continue the long tradition of brewing in Suomenlinna. They have also ciders in their selection.  

Fat Lizard Brewing Company from Espoo. New fresh acquintance worth a try.

Maku Brewing from Helsinki greater area. Actually this brewery is from Tuusula but let’s call it Helsinki greater. The guys seem to have great boogie going on and of course the beer is good.

The event is all about beer but let’s not forget about food. Four nice food joints serve some great food to combine with beer. Two and half of these are coming from Helsinki.

Australian bar and kitchen Woolshed will be serving lobster and burgers with side salad. One may also visit their restaurant in Helsinki city center.
